Ideas for World Aids Day at lunch on December 1st

1. Games related to AIDS - we should make games that everyone would enjoy and have fun with and maybe win some fun prizes

2. If we can get a sponsor we could maybe get a really nice shirt or some kind of good prize and they will have to put tickets in a jar and we pick it out at the end of the day or after a while then that person we pick get whatever the prize is and for the tickets they will have to pay for them and the money goes to our charity or where ever we will be sending it.

3.We could have a really nice bake sale and have food that everyone will enjoy

4. for the assembly we could make a video by taking pictures and forming art with our bodies or we could use recycled materials to show a message

What are global issues ?

Global issues are problems that are in the world that are hard to fix but can be fixed, they may effect us in a negative way. For example: global warming, starvation, AIDS, HIV, poverty, not enough child education, war ect.

Why should I care ?

We should care because we can do something, we are very privileged and lucky compared to other people in the world. We can donate, we can reduce reuse and recycle, we can go on www.freerice.com and give rice to people. We should care because we are so lucky to have what we have and people out there having almost nothing. We also have the ability to reduce reuse and recycle so we can do it, that is why we should care because we are way more lucky than other people out there.
